8/7/09 Flips For Kids Riders doing big things

The other day, Mitch Bergsma came out to film a video for the Hyperlite website. I knew it was going to be a good day when it was the first time any pro rider had ever asked me to make the wake smaller. But with a few adjustments and some big fans on the boat, Mitch landed his first toeside 900 clean on camera. Also, I know Tom Fooshee landed one of the craziest tricks ever this Thursday evening. I would love to tell ya'll what it is but I think Tom wants to keep it quiet until the Wakeboard Magazine Wake Awards August 20th. I will tell you that it's absolutely one of a kind. Congrats to both of these guys!

8/6/09 Matt Mitchell - A new shredder

I've gotten the chance to teach Matt Mitchell on a few lessons now and it's been great. Matt is one of the most laid back easy going and easy to teach guys I've had the pleasure of working with. Not to mention Matt is a shredder! Granted Matt has a modest background on a snowboard, he's been extremely fast to pick up the sport and is all about pushing his limits. Each time he catches air, I see his stoke factor jump a notch. Best of luck to Deb, Leslie, and Sean because Matt might be the powerhouse of this Celebrity Challenge.

7/7/09 It's amazing how far watersports have come...

Tom Fooshee brought this video to my attention and has become a bit of a youtube cult classic at the Texas Ski Ranch where it is quoted jokingly on the hour. It has even sparked an impromptu kneeboarding division in last weeks showdown (Texas Ski Ranch's weekly contest). Click here to check this funny stuff out!

6/19/09 The Hunt Is On!

We're set to try to film the wakeskate skiiball at the Texas Ski Ranch. We're also actively seeking out new and fresh sponsorships to make the event bigger and better. We're hoping for big things for the Austin Children's Shelter.
